Nero's Bury

Went to Nero's today for the biphobia day. Got there about 11 and was first in and when I left at 2-30ish there had only been another 5 guys in. Still got to have some fun which is the main thing. I can't understand why such a low turn outs for what is an excellently equipped club and at only £10 if you get a voucher via email or WhatsApp it's inexpensive too. Really needs to be better attended otherwise I can see another venue shutting which would be a shame.

I've given up on it now, especially as the Pennine is now up & running.

Last went 2/3 weeks ago, was shockingly quiet & depressing. As you say its a shame as facilities/potential is there but without bums on seats cant see it surviving . Never seen anyone in the dungeon area except me and a mate, what a waste.

I went a couple of Saturdays ago. It’s a great venue and needs to be supported more. I will definitely return and hopefully it may get busier as we move into the autumn and winter months.

Didn't know they had a dungeon, shame pennine hasn't

I've tried Nero's in the past I think the membership thing puts people off and as a result if people make effort to go it's quiet. Otherwise the place is ok.

I remember it about 20 years ago you couldn't move for cock and arse, esspecially on a Sunday afternoon. Today your first visit will cost you £25, it's too expensive to find out that you're on your own. Also your membership at another of their venues doesn't count, perhaps one would be tempted to try it if it did.

I agree first visit is expensive as you have to pay membership then you get discount offer entrance for £10. Would be better just having a straight £15 entrance fee have been half a dozen times and never more than 10 in maximum and gone even quieter since pennine re opened is a shame as good clean facilities but it needs more cock

It's a pity because it's as well equipped as some of the other larger venues, just to expensive with membership.

But did need a stream room.
