if this is football related, hawthorne hotel is not too far away and has free parking outside. You can get an uber to the ground, it’s about 4 miles away, im assuming it’s for a football game?

Yea it's for an upcoming football match at anfield. Going to stay over but have heard horror stories about parking and such

The premier Inn West Derby has a car park and is just over 2 mile walk to anfield. The castle lodge guest house in shield road is close to the ground and has a car park but be warned shield road has lady's of the night walking up and down 24/7 and id imagine they charge extra when Liverpool are at home

then you have the city centre hotels most of witch charge an extra for parking, the BB's and small hotels close to the ground will charge extra for parking on a match day.

There is a few pubs with rooms like the glebe on county road or the phoenix on Westminster road that are within walking distance and you should be ok to park on the streets outside, where ever you stay then you can get a taxi or bus to the ground but be prepared to walk back after the game unless you go for a drink around the ground after the match for two hours at least. Walking to the city centre is possible as it's just over 2 miles and most of it is slightly down hill
