Seems like for the last year it's a real struggle to get anyone to actually meet. Most seem to like the idea and then chicken out before.

Yes people definitely meet on here.

I don’t meet many but i do try and turn up if

Arrange something. but sometimes things happen at the last min and people cancel.

So I work on 3 strikes and their out.

However it is disappointing if you prepare your self and get canceled

OP - your profile is at least 5 years old and unverified by meeting. That’s what would concern many.
