I live in Sheffield and out of all the cruising spots I visit, I only ever see guys at one now. Is cruising culture dying out? I enjoy the spontaneity of cruising... There's either a cock in front of you or there isn't. It avoids all the "noise" that comes with chatting online.

There's a couple near me that are used, but the one I visit most, is mostly older guys.

I dont particularly join in though. I tend to park separately and just play alone for a few hours and watch the merry go round

There's a handful of guys who know what I like though and pop down to deliver me a facial 😃

I do think it’s dying out a little and I think that sex apps are probably to blame in that meets become planned and almost guaranteed. Cruising always had that risk of ending up disappointed.

There’s a cruising place a couple of miles from where I live and it used to always be busy, even in the middle of winter. For the last couple of years it’s got really quiet and you rarely see anyone there which is a great shame.

I still drop by occasionally more out of habit and hope but it’s glory days are long gone.

It's pot luck at most cruising spots especially this time of year. Then there's the ones where it's a load of blokes sitting in their cars for hours on end looking at their phones. There are a couple I know which you're pretty likely to find someone in the woods. I'll keep them to myself to preserve them

I don't think the act of it is dying out, but those that make use of it.

Same with a sauna. They were once both the only places to go. As more are out and proud, and using apps like this, the younger generation have more avenues and opportunities.
