Same here. Seems lots of places to go off and have fun not sure if they're safe as never tried it. Would love to with someone more experienced in that.

I generally just ride to commute nowadays

I used to ride a lot on my days-off, then my wife retired early……

I did race; MTB/CX/road, from very early 90s

Last road-race was about ‘97, last MTB about ‘01

CX up to 2015

I do ride in the woods/river bank/old railway lines when l can, on my ‘commuter’, essentially a touring bike

Sadly never seen anyone having fun

Barring, the odd ride along HunGate, from the other end

(Wakefield area)
