"I never been in but been passed it and seen not many cars there!

Most park on Firth Drive during the daytime, the car park next door is available evenings and weekends. Some go by bus or taxi of course.

Full price entry is £15.

Every day except Friday the price reduces to £10 at 7pm and £5 at 9pm. Opening hours is midday to 11pm.

Friday has two separate sessions - Midday to 9pm with price reductions at 5pm and 7pm then party night 9pm to 2am which is Full price throughout.

Busiest times generally Friday night, Saturday lunchtime and Sunday afternoon. Quietest day is usually Monday. Rest very random!

Naked days Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Hi... i'm In Sheffield next Thursday (16th) and was thinking about popping in Boiler Rooms from about 1pm for an hour or 2.... Not shy, been to several similar venues around the country. Can i ask, is there a suitable area (toilets?) where i could douche as circumstances dictate that i can't do it before i get there and would enjoy some anal fun

Did anyone find out whether Boiler Room had been closed by police?

Thinking of going there for the first time.

I'm married so can only go during daytime, weekdays.

Are there any particular weekday daytimes which are busiest?

Cheers.

More an industrial area where it was no homes near by and lots of factories and industrial units

Train to Manchester or bus to Mansfield. Leeds is an option too - train or coach then bus or taxi

"Hope it reopens "

It'll have to be new management for it to reopen. Technically someone else could rent the building and run it if they get new licences although a refit might be neccesary

But yeah, it's a facility Sheffield (and south yorkshire) is now missing

Owner posted online last night -

"Don’t believe everything you read.

As this is ongoing, I cannot discuss the details, but this isn’t what it appears to be, or what they say it is.

My advice: beware of narcissists, bigoted authorities and those who knowingly lie for their own self satisfaction. You know who you are"

Hopefully will get sorted - maybe someone that's been barred or fired causing trouble? Who knows?

A journalist from Sheffield Tribune (a reputable independent online "newspaper") is asking for anyone that knows what exactly has happened to get in touch.

I wonder if anything interesting is going to come out regarding the police, council or owner?

So now all Sheffield has to offer the gay community is one gay pub it is ridiculous

I do fear for the future off all similar establishments up and down the country

When our places close they rarely reopen
