If you are brave enough I would recommend visiting a makeup counter for a makeover. My preference is MAC, there is a cost which is redeemable against products and therefore works out great value. Explain your situation to the makeup artist and they will talk you through the process and give advice as they go.

A quick Google search using dressing service Blackpool, brought up someone called Stephanie, there is a website, make up lesson and go was £60 I believe.

Try that search term, you might find something to suit.
