"Seems to have gone awfully quiet…..! "

Some movement on 'X' saying oppening is imminent.

Recent post on X said opening very soon, reckon it’ll be very popular when it opens

Recent post (Friday 17/4) said there'll be more news soon and when there is about 2 to 3 weeks notice of opening. It's really needed and will shake things up showing how poor quality the other saunas are. Its been a long wait, frustrating and theres pent up demand almost bursting for when this opens, but be patient, it'll be worth it. As usual gossiping gays want to only see the worst rather than keeping patient and supporting a business catering well for our playful needs.

Chesterfield/Sheffield

Yorkshire Post reported a quote from their Ops Director that it would be the back end of the year to open as they’re making some improvements to the place pre-opening.

They're advertising a staff recruitment open day 5-6 May and suggesting they are on the home straight with work fitting it all out. They're principal channel of communication seems to be X (Twitter)

"Have they announced prices for entry yet?"

Did someone mention it'd be same prices as the Glasgow one?

There it is £20 for members, £29 for non members with annual membership costing £9 (or free if you sign up on a Monday or Wednesday).

Is this the death knell for Steam ??? Do we know the Opening Hours yet ???

I bet this will be the end for Steam. It's a real pain to get to and needs some money spending on the changing rooms. Pipeworks is just what Leeds has been waiting for. Accessible, clean and hopefully good fun. Can't wait.

Really looking forward to trying this. I don't mind paying a bit more for somewhere decent with nice facilities you can enjoy regardless of whether sex might happen. Plastic Ivy has become increasingly grim - last time I was in there the whole place was really dark and the tepid steam room smelt awful.

I agree. The steam room is hit and miss. I'd rather have a better place, so happy to pay a bit more.

Just looking at the city centre location, I don't know Leeds C.C. but checking it out on Google maps only, it looks like car parking will be expensive if you want to spend all day there or at least 8 to 12 hours in the sauna, can anyone _ocal shed some light on car parking availablity and charges?
