Recent post (Friday 17/4) said there'll be more news soon and when there is about 2 to 3 weeks notice of opening. It's really needed and will shake things up showing how poor quality the other saunas are. Its been a long wait, frustrating and theres pent up demand almost bursting for when this opens, but be patient, it'll be worth it. As usual gossiping gays want to only see the worst rather than keeping patient and supporting a business catering well for our playful needs.

There it is £20 for members, £29 for non members with annual membership costing £9 (or free if you sign up on a Monday or Wednesday).

Really looking forward to trying this. I don't mind paying a bit more for somewhere decent with nice facilities you can enjoy regardless of whether sex might happen. Plastic Ivy has become increasingly grim - last time I was in there the whole place was really dark and the tepid steam room smelt awful.

Halifax / Manchester / Leeds

I went this afternoon. It was busy.

It's all fitted out really well and is a really pleasant environment - especially the sauna and pool. Large steam room was a bit disappointing - just not very steamy - I think partly because there was an issue with a door not closing properly but even so I reckon they need to up the steam generation.

Cruising area is much as you expect - corridors of cubicles (which were decent, comfortable). There's an area with a cage but was not used at all today. Glory hole area designed so you suck standing up - that was proving popular. There was supposed to be a sling room but I think it/they haven't been fitted yet. It felt a bit lacking in terms of group action / places for that - perhaps was the crowd in this afternoon, but I think the first time I've ever been to a sauna and not seen men fucking - just the endless corridor walking. Perhaps will change when they get the slings installed. I'd hoped they might have had something like the fabled Northwich sauna pig pens but no.

Lovely place, but didn't really do it for me today. But I'll give it another go one day in the week probably.

I know exactly what you mean, I always knew it as a fart under the bedsheets thing until I was introduced to the other kind at a sauna.. basically a hole in wall you lay back in with feet up in air on straps and a door that shuts down far enough to make you almost anonymous

Just been today Monday the 8th, it was quiet but I still managed to have four very nice liaisons over three hours. Being bottom I was dissapointed that the swings are not yet installed but reliably informed it/they will be in the next week or so. The Jacuzzi is huge, and very warm as is the sauna and the steam room. Showers everywhere and work well. Condoms and lube available on every level. Navigation takes a bit of getting used to, but that's part of the fun. Staff very helpul and friendly - still trying to work out how everthing works, lol. Still a work in progress so will improve over time. I'll defo be going back soon.

I’d love to hear some stories of the fun people have had here, and how they played out. My fun at saunas have usually started with me discreetly wanking myself in the porn room. Usually someone sits beside me and things become much less discreet, then we head off to a private room - but to tell you the truth I’d happily just put on a show!

I want to get a sense of the place before I go.

Yes, they still don't have a website for Leeds!

They've posted an AI graphic on X with opening hours and prices

Monday to Thursday open 11am to midnight then open continously 11am Friday to midnight Sunday.

Entry £21 for members, £29 non members. Annual membership £9.

Premium cabins available for an extra charge which varies between £7 and £15 depending on day/time.

"Even £21 seems high!!! But £29?!?! Nope!"

You would expect to have to join on your first visit to any sauna, £9 for the year is not expensive, and if you first go on a Monday or a Wednesday yearly membership is free.

Pipeworks is a fabulous new venue for Leeds and well worth any effort to get there. I went on Monday and left a few hours later well satisfied with both the venue and the attention my bottom recieved.

Yes, I'm following with interest.

One one hand their Leeds website still isn't live so reliable information is lacking, just some bits of AI slop and videos posted on X and there are reports on here that the place isn't quite finished.

However other reports on here do reflect the impression the publicity videos give of it being rather nice with good facilities and a variety of areas to explore.

Personally I'm giving it a week or two to settle down before making a trip over to Leeds to try it!

I don't understand why anyone on the first visit wouldn't just join for the anual £9 fee. The actual entrance fee is £21.

Anyway Northwich is 70 miles away from Leeds, so not relevant.

Went yesterday for first time, got lucky as Wednesday is free membership day which was a bonus, not that I think £9 is unreasonable for a year. Was a little quiet but just getting going so I expect this will change in next few months. Staff were super friendly and helpful, excellent facilities, really well done and top quality, still a few areas being worked on on top floor and roof area but looks close to completion, pool, steam and sauna on bottom floor are top notch, just need to dim lighting a little and get the bubbles going with more vigour in the tub, all being sorted so manager said.

Overall I was impressed and has big potential, I will use regularly as closer to my location, probably would rank 2nd after Northwich which I think is hard to beat for someone like me who loves naked Tuesday’s but also T-girl Wednesday’s to meet and chat to other freaks like me xx 💋

It's expensive if you just want to blow your load and leave. Im planning going a week on Monday. Explore the place, use the spa facilities, couple of drinks, make a day of it. It looks reasonably priced for that.

"£29 for non members seems overpriced. I agree it’s really expensive if you compare it to northwich which has no membership and I think it’s under £20 and probably a lot better

I don't understand why anyone on the first visit wouldn't just join for the anual £9 fee. The actual entrance fee is £21.

Anyway Northwich is 70 miles away from Leeds, so not relevant. "

it's only irrelevant if you are from Leeds or close to and have a me me me it's all about me attitude, for men who live say 20 to 70 miles from both it is totally and utterly relevent, reading these furoms should let you know there is plenty of guys who travel good distances to visit a sauna so comparing the two is very relevant

I completely agree I live 60 miles from Leeds and about 80 from northwich. I’ve been to northwich and it was really good can’t say about Pipeworks but like most have said £29 is expensive when you add parking on as well

If you live equidistant between Northwich and Leeds, you would choose to go to Northwich at the moment. Great sauna and well established venue. Once Pipeworks has been open a while, the decision may be harder to make, but I’m sure the entrance fee will be an issue for some.

"Steam Sauna in Armley is also £30 for the first visit. Norwhich Sauna is £20 entry and a 140 mile round trip drive. Go figure. "

£30 entry at STEAM is for 12 months membership and includes 10 free consecutive entries. £25 gets you 6 months membership and 7 free consecutive entries.

Normal entry for members is £17 but can be as low as £14 and there are also weekly 2 days for the price of one offers and a free lunch too!

All details on the Steam Complex website.

Does this place have a proper dark room?

Probably going to give Pipeworks a go tomorrow (Saturday). I've read all the comments regarding Northwich and the cost in both money and time in getting there...for me Northwich (which I've been to a couple of times) is a 2 hour drive each way and I can get to central Leeds in half an hour on the train.

Halifax / Manchester / Leeds

Had a great time this afternoon with a guy I'd chatted to on here first but there were friendly guys in and could have had plenty more fun if I'd hung around. Saunas are often more fun when they're less busy, preferred it to last Saturday. The pool and sauna are really fantastic its such a nice place to hang out. Steam room still lacking a bit though I think.

There is a room that's dark and fairly unused which I assume is where sling will be going. And another darkish room on top floor with glory holes which I've not seen used so far but might be different when the roof is open

I went on opening night, and honestly.... Pretty disappointed. It's the layout. It's cramped and mostly consists of corridors up and down between cabins. No open play areas to speak of.

However, the steam / jacuzzi floor is excellent

Heading to Splash Spa Leicester today for Bears day then up-to Leeds Sunday overnight till Monday. 200 mile round trip. !

I’ll join up at Pipeworks Monday if it’s free membership. Then stay a couple of hours before heading home to Leicester. Planning Leeds again in two weeks too.

Travelling to and staying in Leeds today - is this place worth a shout? I've never been to a sauna before so a little nervous! Any tips would be greatly received!

It’s only been open a couple of weeks. Mixed reviews so far, but probably your best option in Leeds. A guy of your age and looking for older should be well suited to Pipeworks. Enjoy.

I heard lots about it,Was hoping to visit sometime soon, Seems very expensive for me, that is, You have entrance fee then Membership add on ,on first visit,Wrong location ,no free parking at the venue or nearby,

I prefer sort walking distance from parking to venue, just want to pay entrance fee and have fun.Good luck to the venue and its customers.

There's a car park right next to it. And it's very convenient by train unlike Northwich.

Been twice

Overpriced compared to other saunas. Luxurious not many dark places which I like in saunas .I can't see it financially viable tbh. .nothing to compare to Northwich which is best by far ...but shame a bit far for me.

The only advantage is being open late

I would like to try it but the Leeds saunas have put me off totally especially steam I’d rather travel to Northwich its huge gets a good mix of people and it doesn’t have membership which is not the fault of the sauna just the councils but Northwich is fantastic hard to beat

First visit yesterday, Monday 15th, and got free membership then paid the £21 entry fee. Great facilities and on three floors with stairs and a lift. Lots of private free cabins and also premium cabins to rent for 6 hours max. Staff were very friendly. Not busy as it was Monday lunchtime but still had an enjoyable interaction with two nice guys in the steam room.

I’ll be back on Sunday 28th as I believe there’s a no towel event on.

I went yesterday afternoon and have and overall positive impression with some minor points.

I couldn't find the place using google maps but when I rang to ask directions, the staff member came into the street for me to find him and walked me in. Lovely helpful guy.

Got a free membership card and the reception guy was great explaining what was where.

The locker didn't lock as it's supposed to as the disc (which I didn't know) about was missing. But they sorted me out.

Menu looks ok, but I didn't eat. Can of pop £2. Decent booze selection, but I didn't know if the prices were good as I hardly drink alcohol.

The bar area looks upmarket and chic. Apologies that I don't like up to these surroundings!

The place was quiet all afternoon with a few arriving at 4/5pm. So I couldn't judge what it would look like when busy.

The steamroom isn't as big as the Nowrthwich one. The jacuzzi looks very high spec but the jets aren't very good. One of the other customers said that they were having them redone. There were a few smallish puddles of water in this area, but the staff cleaned these up regularly. I'm don't spend long in sauna cabins but it seemed ok.

The cabins seemed ok and I used one with a nice guy, but the area was empty as it was so quiet.

I went up to the roof terrace but it wasn't complete so I looked through the door.

The staff were absolutely great. There were two on all afternoon, and then three more came on before I left. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were happy to answer questions and were open to suggestions and feedback, as they asked without being overbearing.

I will go back in 2-3 weeks I guess and really hope that the place takes off.

Anyone up at silly o’clock in the morning on Saturday?

Looking to pop in really early as I have a bus to catch at 930 am.

Got a sneaky feeling it’ll be dead, but worth a go I guess
