Very late to this party, but I just wondered what was the deal here? Went yesterday and nobody was interacting. I'm aware of the glory holes, piles of tyres and benches, but how does one signal or attract interest?

There's 2 small lay bys on the right as you head towards the metro centre and a large one on the left with an abandoned camper van in it. Can also park in the metro blue car park. Not sure about the Costco car park, suspect they track and limit use.

I have never stopped off at the woods, but I always smile too myself when my Mrs and myself are going to Costco. She usually comments, "It must be a popular spot for people to walk their dogs". "Yes my dear..." I reply, thinking about how I wish that I was "walking my dog" there. It goes too show that if you don't know that it is a cruising spot the general public, or my wife at least have no idea of what goes on there.

I drive past there a lot… always amuses me a bit to see people getting out of cars parked in the lay-by near the entrance to the woods, knowing what they’re almost certainly doing.

I’m happy for them though, ha
