I sometimes enjoy getting naked when we have some sunshine, usually up at Druridge. I spotted online that South Gare Beach is a place suitable for nudists. Do any of you have any experiences of the place? Druridge tends too be male dominated (good for fun!). Is South Gare the same or is it a place couples go as well? I fancy finding a new place to try for some new adventures.

I’m not sure where you’ve got that info from but South Gare isn’t a nudist beach as far as I’m aware, it’s a popular walking beach. We go there with the dog, lots of people, families, never seen anyone with their kit off!

Completely agree, this isn’t a nudist beach.

You may be able to go in the dunes and have some ‘me time’ but could easily get disturbed by people just walking through.

Wife and I have had some fun down there both in and out of the car, but you are taking a risk.

Harbour police also regularly go down there.

South Gare is definitely not a nudist beach. It might be somewhere that guys will go and hook up (especially in the huts) but I wouldn’t recommend strutting about naked. Plenty of dog walkers that you might upset lol

I've been going to South Gare for many years..

The actual beach is just for walking, bit there's miles of sand dunes behind, with lots of hidey holes for horny action

I often strip off in the dunes, the dog walkers very rarely trudge among the dunes

also, I know exactly where to park and where the good/safe areas are

I walk my dogs down there. It is not a nudist beach and there are often families having a nice day out when it's sunny.

I have been going to the gare for years walk round dunes naked had lots of sex with guys and couples there are lots of out the way places on both sides of the road but dont go past where road narrows gets busy there the dunes actualy run from redcar to gare end plenty hidden places to play if you need a guide just ask x
