" Yes the site is full.of mind game players, fantasists and people with strange motives. There are genuine guys too though, but you can't always tell from profiles. I have experienced strange behaviour from verified and site supporters profiles, is it possible to fake verification ? | |||

In what way does this protect you? Do you make sure the profiles are verified by meeting in person? Do you read the verifications or ask to see them? Do you speak to people on the phone? What checks do you do before driving to unclear destinations or giving your address to unknown people? And you would let someone muck you about like this two more times..? 😶 | |||

"Think the OP does protest too much. This site - like life - is what you make it. There’s a thousand & one reasons why meets don’t happen….like in the real world out there. If one falls through, it’s there loss, move onto the next guy / experience. Lives for living not for bleating & bemoaning others "I was just asking for opinions and views. "When I first came on I was bombarded with messages , which was very overwhelming. So I came off within days. Can back on and the same happened. I agreed to meet and got let down and I got nervous and let others down without explanation....and yes was probably classed as a time waster. Coming on this sure can be overwhelming at first so we need to give newbies some slack we have all been there. Once you get used to it you can almost filter out the ghosts etc. to a certain extent. But on the whole it's an enjoyable site and when you get it if right you get the chance yo meet great guys. You are never going to get away from the time wasters and fantasists completely " What’s moderate and measured and sensible view. 👍 You have to give a bit of benefit of the doubt as everyone has to start off from somewhere, and indeed many are overwhelmed by their first forays into this world. But you need to know when that benefit should be removed and be hard-nosed so you are not mucked about. Treat everyone as a potential liability waiting to prove themselves otherwise to you. You will get a few who show themselves to be genuine and you are elated when that happens. You will get many more who can’t and you thus won’t be too disappointed. | |||
