May be up in Telford a bit in comming weeks, and I told a friend I'm going up north.

'That's not north' he said 'that's midlands'

But I've previously been told there is no such thing as midlands

There is only north and south.

Explain please?

I'm from Telford and I would say in a simple north/south it's definitely in the north.

So if I don't drive , what are the glories of Telford /west Midlands that I should look for?

It's all depends on what sort of thing you like.

Ironbridge can be fantastic for a pint if the weather is good, lots of places for a walk and some great food.

So iron bridge for walks and beers and perhaps take up golf....

It's an interesting place from what I read. I think with long evening approaching some photo walks are in order.

Thank you folks!
