Closed either permanently or for a long time. A fair few threads about it. Shame, as I had just started a repeat session with a lovely guy with the best mouth in yorkshire. Made Friday lunchtimes a slice of heaven!

Yes, police raided it and closed it down. Circumstances all very vague but appears to be licensing issues and possibly drug use - i don't know.

A court order closed the building to the public for 3 months.

Now the operator of Boiler Room leased the building rather than owned it so a new company could take it on and reopen it subject to licence approval once those 3 months are up. We'll see. I hope there is a positive outcome.

It seems some of the old Boiler Room regulars have started going to Club Zeus in Mansfield.

I imagine the new one in Leeds could potentially attract some too as it's an easy train journey there.

Ive been once as id been offered a lift. Similar vibe to Boiler Room - friendly, relaxed and compact.

On 3 floors - locker room, cafe/bar, steam room and small hot tub on ground floor, sauna on first floor, various rooms on the upper floors to have fun and a small porn cinema room on the top floor. The private rooms are bigger than the cubicles Boiler Room had.

When I went seemed very much an older, white crowd, although that seemed to be changing going into the evening as we left.

Yes the new Pipeworks Sauna is on Albion Street, 5 min walk from the Train sation. Looking forward to its opening on June the 6th.

Its a shame because I went to the boiler room in December for the first time. I ended up having fun with the guy who worked there whilst he gave me a tour.

I was hoping to go back and have some more fun with him.
