Anyone wishing to find this place:

Heading south towards Bolton from the M65. Follow the A666 through Darwen, look out for a sign on the left for Chapeltown, Turton Tower. That is Green Arms Road. 750 yards past that Junction, as the road bends slightly round to the left, there is a lane that forks to the right. That is Stones Bank Road. Park in any one of the many laybys, or turn right further down and park up round the bend.
