We are booked into a hotel in Manchester for 3rd, 4th and 5th July and due to the way we booked we can't cancel.

We booked for the Sammy Hagar concert at the AO Arena but unfortunately the concert has been cancelled.
As we can't cancel hotel, what fun and entertainment can be had in Manchester during these dates?
We're staying close to city centre (Crowne Plaza hotel)
Have a walk along the canal behind picc station then head across the city to afflecks palace. Dinner in wetherspoons then nip into the arndale for a look around.
