BUT it’s a fantastic place for the LGBT community, lots of like minded people with great clubs, bars and Saunas.

I love trades. Better when it's busy, feels filthier than Growlr, but saying that, I went there a couple of weeks ago and I think the play area is way better than it used to be.

I do like visiting the Mardi Gras basement too. Had a few good moments in there.

My best fuck was in Welhorny's though.

5th 6th and 7th is pride so it will be busy. Most if not all pubs in the Lord St, Dickson Rd and Queen street area are very friendly and welcoming.

My son and his husband are visiting us that weekend should be a great weekend

There are the obvious scene places Peeks, Lulus, mardi grass. Nice hotel bars like nNeon, McGraths.

If you go into town galleon, dirty blondes Soul suite are good.

I kinda like it. Trades always good for fun as can the basement in Mardi Gras. Growlr bar always good pretty much anything goes. Other places not tried. The town has its issues like most places but you know still has a village, friendly people, lovely beach close so you can spend a day in Manchester or Liverpool. I can get three nights in Blackpool and all the fun I can manage for the price of one in Manchester City Centre
