I'm primarily a top. But have attempted to btm a few times. I find it somewhat uncomfortable (due to a burning sensation not penetrative pain itself) I don't want to kill my pain reception as that could be dangerous but does anyone know anything I could try to help. No matter how much lube i use it makes no difference

I found this ...

1. The "Pain Masking" Danger (Risk of Injury)

Pain is your body’s alarm system. During anal play or sex, pain tells you if you need more lubricant, a slower pace, or a smaller size.

The lining of the anus and rectum is delicate and tears easily.

If you completely numb the area, you won't feel a tear, fissure, or tissue damage happening in real-time.

This can lead to severe bleeding, internal injuries, or infections that you only notice after the numbing agent wears off.

Use Anal-Specific Products (For Medical Issues): If you are trying to soothe pain from hemorrhoids or a fissure, do not use a sex spray. Instead, buy an over-the-counter rectal cream or spray (like Anusol or a designated 5% lidocaine rectal cream) designed specifically for mucous membranes, and use it strictly externally as directed.
