It is so frustrating. Had it happen once to me however they were local, just a mile or two away. Meet arranged after a chat but as I got in my car I checked my phone for any further messages and their profile had gone.

i must admit i very rarely consider a meet unless they have verifications but we all started without any so first timers do need a bit of slack there.

too many fantasists and time wasters who are probably just getting off on the sexy chat and then either bottle it or no longer have the urge to meet as they have had a wank and cum.

Still think this is one of the better sites compared to many others I am on.

Gave up on Grndr that was horrendous for ghosting/blocking/fantasists and no shows. Think I managed 1 meet from that and it transpired to be someone I had already contacted on here before.

Sniffies, been on that a while and again all talk no action, way too many anon profiles who can message you. As soon as you ask for pics/location they go silent or disappear.

Not been on Blowers long but again no meets, lots of interest/chats but it never amounts to much.

overall on the newer Apps I find people come and go too much, deleting profiles and setting up new ones all the time which of course is the classic MO of a timewaster.

At least here we can see how new the profile is and of course how many veris/meets they have had which does help a little

Happened to me (fortunately only once!) Started driving after receiving their post code, tried messaging them to get their house number only to find out that I was already blocked!

Wasted 2 hours of my time driving around.

Used to have this happen a lot, I would spend time doing my makeup and picking an outfit only for them to not show up.

Decided to move to club meets, has worked far better and allowed me to meet very genuine people who are also happy to meet outside of clubs regularly and most importantly, actually show up.
