I’m not long separated and finally got settled in my new home. It’s been stressful and next week I have no obligations. I was going to take a beach holiday for a week but as I’ve got time to myself I’m wanting to experience the gay scene with no guilt. Don’t want to go out local for my first time and meet people I know. Abroad is too dear but I loved canal street when I visited with friends as a “straight” guy.

I’ve booked train tickets next week. Arrive Manchester at 17:00 and leave Sunday evening.

As I’m venturing myself I’m obviously a bit nervous and unsure when to go.

Are there any Mancunians out there that’s can give me some advice please.

Hi , I tried to message you privately, but outside your age range .

Lots of the bars at weekends attract a lot of Stag and Hen nights.

However , The Rembrandt Company Bar and The Eagle are men only venues.

Good luck with your time in the Gay Village .
