Christmas Time - Feeling ugly

I have bipolar and BPD and struggle to regulate my emotions. If a guy I like rejects me, it means that I must be ugly and deformed. I can’t seem to shift this mindset . Nobody cares anyway but I feel I have to express myself as I’ll go mad anyway.

Guys reject others for all sorts of reasons.

They can find you attractive but just not be in the mood to meet or have other things going on in their lives.

Try to rationalise it a little like this.

The timing might not be quite right.

You're not unattractive at all.

It just has to line up for the both of you.

I know I’m not thinking rationally but it’s just the reality of being emotionally unstable. I would do anything for anyone I care about but if someone does me a bad turn I’ll cut them off especially if I was never that close to them.

I’m getting therapy but living with this condition feels like you have an exposed nerve sometimes. It might just seem like attention seeking to many , but it goes far deeper x

I do find some people on here, seem to have A fixation with chatting away, and actually have no intention of meeting up.
