"Does anyone remember the fabulous sauna suite at the Commie? Beautiful circular design around a central garden and split in 2 for male and female. Single sex meant you could be naked and I used to love going there. From memory, 3 different saunas with plunge pool, a steam room and solarium. Tea and coffee from a central area between the male and female sections. Lovely lounge area. Don’t know why they did away with it at the refurbishment - maybe too much hanky panky?" This definitely what was happened my ex was part of the management team at the Commy was about 25/30 years ago and that is reason it was closed down."Lol, did you miss the bit about benches and cubicles NOT EXISTING?… with an open changing area! | |||
