I think the thing that was worse on my visits to this so called "Private Members Only" club was the lies told by the owners when standing in reception and asking was there many in?, the first time they told me, yes!..."there are 5/6 others in", only to pay my £15 entry fee to find out there was only one other person in, second time again, prior to handing over £10 (prices now reduced) I asked, many in? "Yes! Good tonight" says the owner "7/8 in" again to only find 3 in and one was leaving. Third time, again asked, many in?, to be told,"yes 5/6 in", again to find only one other in, and finally on Saturday again told, "yes we are expecting a good crowd tonight" to only find me on my own, with two others who came in later.
Seems they were prepared to lies just to get £10. Surely better to tell the truth and not steal valued, "Club Members" money.
Shame, as the place has great potential, but seems to be just a "play thing" for the two owners, somewhere to go, a Play Den, especially now they seem to be happier spending time with the two "Swingers" not that they were "swinging" much during the time I was there.
During my visit I heard them talking to the Swingers about the new "Taxi service, they are providing from Stevenson railway station to the club and back again later, which sounds great only the conversation went on to say about the taxi door falling off and the windscreen wipers don't work along with other faults, maybe they should investigate this, as you need to be registered to provide a taxi service and your taxi needs to be Legal and Road Worthy, all fine until they are involved in an accident with someone in the taxi and have, no insurance.
To provide a taxi pick up service it needs to be legal, licensed and above board.
The list goes on about this venture
They are not listed in companies house as a business, they are not registered with GDPR, so don't comply with data protection of your confidential information.
This list goes on and on.
Yes, we all want a safe place to go, but it needs to be professionally run and Private Members should be treated with the respect they deserve.
As I said in a previous post the professional video camera always on the reception counter was alarming,

This is a true indication of my recent visits to Forbidden Pleasure.
I am sure others will have their thoughts and experiences and everyone will have to see for theirselves if they visit and I hope that posting this that it helps others to make a choice if or not they go and perhaps, waste their money or their confidential information is not secure, or they end up getting filmed and it gets posted on line. All worth thinking about.
As I say, it's a shame, but like all successful businesses, it needs to be run professionally and legally, I think the owners thought they could just put on some old dated porn, a few dildos and other dirty toys around the place open the doors and make their fortune!
