Can't get any more of a dramatic ending than crossing the tidal sand flats to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne off the Northumberland Coast.....

Stayed in 2 campsites to use the showers otherwise just wild camped.

Would recommend both campsites

Kirkfield caravan park in Yetholm, https://www.kirkfieldcaravanpark.co.uk/ , great pub close by for a meal sure it was called The Plough.

West Kyloe https://www.westkyloe.co.uk/ it’s the last stop a mile or so west of the A1. Theres services on the A1 there and remember the shop being ok for food and beer.
