Start small mate, you can get a trainer kit 3 plugs different sizes, finger your hole regularly,plenty lube,you'll get there

It probably depends on if you want one just to prep, or to try playing too.

Size wise, maybe see how many fingers you can manage and take that as a start.

There are a lot of sources now, just stick to nonporous materials for anything you'll keep around.

Most of the online shops have buyers guides now.

You probably don't really need to stretch to accommodate most endowments. Though it could make you more comfortable and help ensure your empty.

Good lube would probably be more important.
