Hidden profiles

Why do guys post on here but hide their profiles. I tried to message a guy the other day because he does not accept messages from someone of my sex (male). Why is he here then?

HE has set HIS message filters, presumably to excluse Single Guys, not 'males'.

HE is entitled to do this, apparently.

I sometimes hide my profile when I don’t particularly want to engage with anyone, but I’m happier just to lurk, look and enjoy everyone else’s body. It has a purpose. It can be very annoying too haha

I post on the forum and have message filters and I sometimes hide my profile, whoch I think is perfectly reasonable.

Sometimes I just come on to chat and read the forum. But if my profile is not hidden I'll get several messages from local guys wanting a meet. Rather than having to repeat the rejections its sometimes easier to hide the profile. Its as simple as that. Well, thats my reasoning other mightbhave different ones.
