So many people wink at me, I guess I'm not unique with this observation

What's the point ?

Why not just message if you are serious about a meet.

Feels like a waste of time tbh

It's good for shy people who find it difficult to reject, they just don't wink back 😉

It's a way of testing the water. If the other person is interested then they wink back which is then the winker's cue to progress to messaging.

I wink if I am interested and its up to the other guy to respond if he is. No reply is an answer in itself

That's what I do. If no reply and I see he's looked at my profile after I sent him a wink, then I get the message.

If someone sends me a wink, I check out their profile.

If I like their profile, and we have similar likes, and they have good verifications.

I'll perhaps drop them a message.

They are just testing the water.

No problem with that.

Fair to say, most I don't message, as they tend to be the polar opposite, of what interests me ...

I never knew a wink meant that you wanted meet. I have received winks and sent winks to many guys who are 100+ miles away. Many of them have become guys I regularly chat to.

Is there any difference between a wink and a fab of one of your pics? Both happen to me without any chat. Unfortunately very often they're guys I might like to meet but are too many miles away.

. Fab on pics is just liking the picture, a wink is if you're interested in meeting but bad at starting conversations I think.

If someone winks at me I'll assume they are interested and I'll check out their profile. So it's like a "hey I'm interested in you are yoi interested in me" sort of thing.

If I like what I see I'll send them a message if not I'll ignore them and they might wink at me later and maybe I'll be more desperate then lol.
