The loneliness of christmas

So here we are days away from Christmas ,a time of year in the past filled me with joy and pleasure. This year will be very different as I lost my love 6 months ago and I know it will be hard.i was planning to just lock myself away for the duration and probably grief. A few good friends have persuaded me not to. I have reluctantly relented and bringing them into my life for the festive season. It won't be the same by any stretch but has made me realise my love would not have wanted me to be this way. So, people out there if you know of someone who needs the understanding and love of a friend ,extend a hand, let them know you care and let them make the move even if it's just to grief over the phone. Be kind,we need it. Merry Christmas to us all

As you get older, Christmas no longer has its magic.

Friends and Family are reduced.

I’m reminded all through the season, that I’m alone.

I bury myself in hobbies, to keep my mind active. It also means I have regular social interaction.

True Friends are rare.

A

Soul Mate, what’s that.

I live alone, in Edinburgh.

I would love some company, around New Year.

If any other guy or guys, are lonely, please message.

We would both benefit from each others company.

No time wasters please. x
