It costs me almost £10 for entry to my local community health suite.

Swim, sauna and steam room with absolutely no chance of a wank!

I reckon a score (£20) for the use of better facilities than my local leisure centre is great value for money. Especially when there’s a chance of a wank or more.

If you’re looking for a guaranteed ride, you’d be better advised to look for a fella for rent, rather than pinning your hopes and £20 on what a venue can provide

I was there last Saturday for the first time found it was worth the £20 even if it was just to relax in the sauna, dry sauna and jacuzzi spent 3hrs in the place even chatting to other guys as the last chap said use it or lose it, you definitely won't get the same facilities at Stevenston as in pipeworks 👌

£20 might be 'expensive' if you are going once a week or more

I see it as a treat for myself. As I said in my write-up for newbies, I go for a sauna and steam with ability to ogle another guy without risking a smack in the gob. Any sex is a bonus. I refuse to be annoyed by either those wandering around and around hoping something better comes along or the by mincing twinks who think their farts smell of lavender. So for me it might average down to a fiver or £10 a week depending on whether I go once or twice in a month.

I also use Pipeworks to specifically get fucked by a guy

(and/or give him a massage

) where neither of us can accom. Try getting a HOTEL room for £40.

It also very good for the curious guys. I have taken in nervous guys - some ostensibly straight - from fabswingers (not to 'do' me) and it is a joy seeing the big smile on their face at the ability to be uninhibited and experiment. I'd better not mention the straight policeman on my outer sphere who came as a dare when I said he wasn't man enough to go. I will write him up at some future juncture.

For the record, Steamworks in Edin is £20 too albeit they do "go six times,seventh entry free". Pipeworks used to do a weekend pass (or maybe it was 3 days and I just used it at weekends

) but that was pre-Covid. I am not even going to go in to prices of other places with less facilities and next to zero punters.

I believe not. But you might want to consider a private cabin if you’re there for that long, and that’s extra. I can’t remember how much as I just pay whatever the total is.

If you are definitely wanting action, you have to be a bit uninhibited. Like sitting on your towel instead of having it round you , using the gloryholes in the cinema etc .

I have gone and had nothing , but I will have had a relaxing time! Weekends are busiest and best . Otherwise lunchtime isn’t bad , not sure about evenings now I’m retired .

If you're going purely for sex there's a good chance you'll be disappointed. Instead go for the facilities, relax for an hour of so in the jacuzzi/stream room. Then go hunting, anything else is a bonus

Visited Pipeworks last Saturday, and also on Monday afternoon. It was £9 membership, and £20 entry on first visit. On Saturday arrived before midnight, the facilities were good and there were some cute guys in, who weren't interested in oldies like me. I used the facilities till 4am when place started to empty.
