"Any hotel near them "

Lots near Pipeworks. Holiday Inn in Glassford St and you can just about see Pipeworks. Premier Inn St Enoch is 5 mins walk away. Plenty of others in walking distance

i like steamworks but mostly because i’m more familiar with it.

Pipe works is still good though. The facilities are more modern. Steamworks has a certain shabby chic about it.

I do find steam works is more wonderful around and disappear in to a cabin/ room with someone where as steamworks is more open (unless you rent a cabin)!

i like being watched etc so Steamworks suits me better in that respect.

I must give Steamworks a go again sometime soon. Especially as i’m in Glasgow once or twice a week.

i also like the sauna in Newcastle which is not a million miles away for me.

Many never reopened after COVID. Pipeworks, Glasgow, Steamworks, Edinburgh and Bachus in Dundee are all thats left. That and running costs have made the few survivors viable
