Need to drive down to England down A9 ..where would be best place to book an overnight stop Thu where a Top could visit and send me homeward to squeak again

It runs beyond Dunblane and ends east of Falkirk, ironically right next to a Premier Inn, but a little off route if travelling onwards to England. A Travelodge is available at Stirling services, en route to NW England, or Glasgow to visit G3…
