There seem to be a fair amount of guys who are unsure about steamworks and when their questions are posted they get unhelpful or slightly rude answers.

From a lot of the posts about Steamworks, I get the impression that it is mostly much older guys there, like 60+. Is that a fair observation?

What sorts of numbers of guys tend to be there, say on a weekday afternoon?

Are the naked Wednesdays any more or less busy than other days?

I'd say the majority of guys there are older. When I've been there, there's maybe been between 5 and 15 guys about and I think the naked Wednesdays are busier.

I’ve always found there to be a real mix from lads in their 20s up to much older guys. Always unpredictable and that’s part of it - go with low expectations, enjoy the facilities and anything else is a bonus.

Some places have coloured wrist bands or similar indicators so that, for example, two bottoms dont waste half an hour playing footsie before they discover they're not going to get what they want from each other.
