The winding walks used to be very good in the evening, when i lived up there. I used to drive as far up the car park as I could and park up. It was a waiting game, but not a long wait especially in the dark nights. You could also walk up some of the trails and just sit about near some of the dense parts. Always somebody walking up looking for fun.
