My last 7 meets have been no shows , while I’m sure some may have a valid reason for not turning up as arranged 7 in a row seems a bit excessive..the fact that I’ve given out my address is probably the most annoying part ..

I had 4 in a row last summer. It’s emotionally and mentally exhausting. I think the only way round it is to build up a rapport beforehand. Even for a few days.

Giving your address after early communication is a NO NO & can be dangerous,be more patient & perhaps chat more first.

Ive had 4 no shows so far this year, but I've learnt from last year when arranging a meet I've got something else to do if they don't turn up and if I'm not liking it I can say I need to be somewhere else

I've met outdoor a few times, one i turned up at and the person said was touching distance on the who's near search.. he then gave me a load of abuse messages and blocked me. There's some strange people out there. Just always got to be vigilante

Mostly i have been pretty fortunate, the vast majority of my meets turn up. But I always work on the assumption that they won’t! well at least until they tell me they are on their way.

I never give out my full address untill they are on my street.

I’m also fairly select in who I talk to. Tends to be people who are pretty local, have got a recent veri and generally seem sane.

also i dont share cock photos. The amount of guys who once you have sent a photo of your cock then go quite and or block you is insane.

I am probably missing out on a meet or two but helps keep things sane

Every time I give address out guys don't come. They think because you live in a flat in an old buddy's complex they think Im old to which Im not.Only have the flat and what I detest is guys listening to other guys spreading rumours.

It’s annoying when that happens ,some do have valid reasons.

I’d prefer meeting outside first, somewhere like a park bench just to chat for 10 or 30 minutes then see if you can trust them.

It can be difficult though as a lot of men are paranoid incase they are seen talking to a man lol

Or the flip side when they reach out to you then after a few pics you’re not what they want and they make it your issue.

Yet they messaged you first.

I have in the past built up what I thought was a good sounding prior to a meet. More often than not married guys, have chatted for a few weeks getting to know each others desires, fantasies and scenarios so that we both knew what could be expected…..it’s very rare that I go full out slut with makeup and wig , the full thing top to toe, painted nails etc..chatted with this guy for a month, got dressed fully for him with full expectation, time arranged at my place….. no show then I was blocked

I have encountered numerous tinewasters on here in recent months. I hope there isn't a block limit! Best one last week was a couple, of which the younger (45) guy wanted a meet, and accordingly sent some photos. What turned up was at best the older one, or some other much older random determined not to show his face as he sat in the car. Blocked and drove off - thankfully only a few miles from my route.

Had lots of no shows and must have heard every excuse in the book at one time I thought I was cursed as everyone I agreed to meet suddenly had a death in the family

Worst was travelling miles and they wouldn’t answer the door

I agree with you completely. When it happens to me I just laugh to myself and think maybe I was some use to someone. I've got to say though that for me the meets outweigh the no shows by quite a bit.

I’ve been let down a couple of times. I never give out my address even when I host. I ask them to message when close to me and I check car details and then let them in. I don’t travel without a firm address and flat number and ask guys to stay on line as I travel. If they drop off I stop and turn back. I always ask guys to leave front door ajar for meets so I know I’m not popping into some innocent guy’s living room. So far only two issues.

Seams odd you wont give out you address when you host, but you wont travel to a meet without a firm address. which of these rules do you recommend?

I rejoined this site a, few weeks ago on a Saturday morning and by lunchtime I was being expertly emtied by a guy who lived less than a 10 minute walk away.

Incredibley fortunate considering I was a member before for years and had so many time wasters.

Last week, mostly, I have been identifying the time wasters out of the new profiles that popped up in my area. I chatted briefly with them over a couple of days, all said they were "maybe free on that day next week", all were very aloof during conversations, and this week two have already removed their profiles.

The third one still hasn't met anyone even though he has a photo of a fit body on his profile.

I avoid the no-shows just by reading between the lines.

I’ve lost count of the number of times this happens to me. The last two occasions happened just after they asked me to meet them that morning. I agreed and then their profiles disappeared.

We all get cold feet now and then but a bit of honesty that they’ve changed their mind would gain much more respect.

I get almost the opposite. I don’t accom so I’m always travelling to someoen’s place and some guys just spend so damned long talking before they finally give their address.

The worst are the ones who’ll give a postcode but not address like wtf it’s a blowjob not a fucking military special ops mission.

I had the opposite told this guy I'm usually free between Tues and Fri but like call things in life things come up work, family stuff, we hadn't arranged anything and because I hadn't been in touch because a work thing came up and hade go back into work on Tues at 6pm and didn't get home till 5.30am, he blocked me saying I led him on. One thing I'm not is a timecwaster if I arrange anything I'll be there.

Time wasters are ruining the experience of what we all want. This is primarily a sex site for guys to meet up wank, suck and fuck.

If you don't want to do they they should leave the site and leave it to those who want to meet.

I get more action on nudist beaches.

Even well established regulars now are descending into flakeyness it seems. I have to admit to frustration that when I host, you're on the down low and you string me along, cancel at last minute and then get all petulant when held to account, you need to grow up.

Timewasters are on all the apps but I have to say my block list on here is the longest. Not sure if that’s because it we much a site used by married bothered guys who must be using it for horny chat and a wank and then get cold feet and block. I’ve even had a couple of no shows start a chat weeks later under a new profile asking to meet. It’s unbelievable.

If I’m meeting a newbie I never give my full address when arranging a meet. They get the street and postcode and directions of where to park. Once I know they are int he street I’ll give the house number. I explain why I do this and if they are not happy then I stop the chatting there and then.

I have found that in doing this the majority of guys understand and are happy. It’s definitely reduced the no shows, still get the odd one who never arrives but at least they are not sitting with my full address.

I never got to a property where they ask you to just walk in. I at least want a wave from a window to establish they are genuine and at home. My mate went to a house and told to walk in. To find a woman and man sitting watching TV. 😱

There's a modicum of shame in going to the effort of making a new profile to play games, I suppose?. My most obnoxious timewasters simply forgot they'd already had their fun on the same profile mere weeks ago.
