You know, I used to take the doggo for long walks up there a decade or so ago, I was in work describing the place to a colleague who was interested in doing the same with her dog, so brought it up on Google, then Wiki.

What I didn't know was the entry on Wikipedia had a section which stated 'THIS IS A NOTORIOUS GAY DOGGING AREA'. I had no idea, and we just burst out laughing. The entry is still there if you go back on the page history.

Needless to say I never noticed or saw any shenanigans whilst walking around the reservoir, but I was probably not going the right time, or just completely oblivious

yes it was indeed rampant ..for many years...the place to be was over the road in a raised laybye...there were huge trees there then and loads of little paths to secret places in the woods.. it was awesome never didnt get contact

Do people meet in the laybys just off the main Merthyr to Brecon road, or do they go off the main road around the other side of the reservoir and meet there? I've only ever used the laybys off the main road, north and southbound.

She has a little red van with a dedicated gloryhole in the side.

The big one on right heading to Brecon remains closed. But means one on left after Garwnant is busier. Police do drive thru but often looking for those with a dick out in the car which others could see. You can still head off over fence and have some fun... Lots of fun..
