The police ( certainly in Surrey when I used to play there) were mainly looking for maybe a bit of a laugh but officially looking after safety.

I have had a torch shone on me a few times but never been spoken to.

One of the gurls that was more regular than me had a great photo of herself sat on the bonnet of the police car with the coppers stood either side smiling.

There's too much paperwork for letters home. Even more paperwork if one of us is reported by any offended members of the public even more if one of us gets hurt.
