Christmas plans gone wrong? Estranged from family? Limited finances or resources? Will you be spending Christmas Day alone? Then keep reading...

Tomorrow I host my annual Waifs and Strays Christmas Dinner, for anyone who will be spending Christmas alone. I'm out to lunch during the day, but will be home by about 4pm. Dinner officially starts at 7pm, but if you arrive early that's fine too.

It is a BYOB event, however, if you're struggling financially and can't afford to bring anything, then I'm sure there will be some alcohol going spare from my collection.

I've been eating turkey for the last 3 weeks at work and I'm so over it, so it'll be roast beef with all the trimmings.

I live in a 1 bedroom flat so spaces are limited to 6 people, and I'll work that out on a first come first serve basis.

Please note that this is a social event only, but everyone is welcome, no matter who you are. Just slide into my DMs if you want more info!

Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to you all!

Tom

Got involved in one of these just before the pandemic. Helped prepare the veg and helped with the washing up. Did not know what to expect or how many. About 30-35 of us sat down for the meal. All ages and backgrounds. One of the nicest Christmas days ever.
