I might be having a mid-life crisis, but I am seriously thinking about getting a prince albert piercing. I am just wondering if anyone on here has one and can offer some advice, pros and cons etc.

I had mine done a couple of weeks ago. Only longer term downsides I expect is having to sit down to pee to avoid spraying all over the place, although I can use a urinal OK (must be due to the angle).

Not particularly. No worse than an injection. Just have to be careful as it will bleed for the first couple of days. Mine only bled when I peed and occasionally if it shifted about in my boxers, but it wasn’t much. Most important thing to remember is good hygiene until it heals.

A guy posted a story in another forum, and everything was positive. I think he was pierced early December and was almost ready to enjoy sex with his PA, but he said the procedure was straight forward with no complications, but follow the guidance from the piercer.

I had mine done November 2022, by Post Human, no pain at all, just a slight tug feeling, was pretty well healed in a fortnight, good for a gentle wank, but vigorous play best left for three to four weeks. Pee is sterile when it comes out, so helps the piercing heal quickly.

The dribble is mostly caused by wearing a ring, a barbel may be easier to pee with, not tried that yet, I have a foreskin so I can cover it when urinating cutting down spray.

I had mine done on the 10th of December 2024 at Blue Banana in Cardiff and all good. Only a few spots of blood for a couple of days, the thought of what was going to happen was far worse than the split second that it took to be done. Sudden short pain but over instantly. Courtney was excellent. They videoed it for training, and shared it with me.
