Why are guys so desperate for fun that they make it stupidly obvious that they're looking for cock fun in public spaces?

Yesterday at a layby (I won't name it but let's just say its near Merthyr) there was a big fat guy guys stood outside a van "talking" to the driver through the window whilst pleasuring himself in full view of anyone in that layby. There were guys pulling up in cars almost bumper to bumper.

There was a guy slowly driving a van whilst pretending to read a map and at the same time trying to check out the other cars.

Then an old guy in tv mode got out of a car, struggled to walk in stilettos, it then climbed over a fence stye and proceeded to walk over uneven ground down to the trees almost falling a few times, followed by a guy in his 70s who could hardly walk, almost fell over the stye and was using a walking stick desperately trying to catch up, the only thing missing was the Benny Hill theme tune.

Don't get me wrong, I've no problem with cruising, I do it myself but at least do it discretely, and they wonder why the police are clamping down on cruising grounds!
