"I wonder if it is down to the remoteness and 'small village' mind set here in west Wales such that guys are scared of going to a group meet and being recognised by or known to one or more of the other attendees." Quite true although that applies to a lot of rural areas. Used to live in Pembrokeshire. Once retired I decided to join a local LGBT group. They had monthly brunch meetings in a busy pub as well as some evening events. Always wary that one of my neighbours or former clientele would walk in and see me. Also arranged for a guy to visit me off this or a similar site. Gave him my address. Straight way asked if that was near a certain guy's house. I said yes he's my next door neighbour. My potential meet apologised and cancelled! | |||
