Anyone else finding dating apps like Grindr or Scruff seem to be dead these days? Full of ads and no one using them. Used to be able to get a meet so easily on them but it’s so rare and far and few these days

I agree with you tho - I can open those apps and it's the same 12 fellas I've seen on there for the last decade. I've chatted with them all at some point. Decided we're not a match.

I also find so few complete their profile to enable an informed decision. I messaged one fella with pic but empty profile saying I'm a beary bottom. On his high horse he said he's bottom and why did I message him!

So I replied like throwing wet toilet paper at the wall I was trying my luck due to the empty profile.

Just gotta keep sorting the wheat from the chaff.

I suspect people are ditching the apps same as they are ditching social media in favour of real life connections. Everything online has got worse.

Still use grindr but mostly for chats these days. Often get messages from guys who are miles away with same interests, so nice to chat with them.

I always ask if they are in fab anyway as I have more pictures in here anyway.

Those proximity apps are only any good if you travel or live in a city with a lot of tourism. Other wise you will see only the same people. I was about to delete Growlr when a man messaged me- he was parked down the road while waiting to pick up his boss. Ended up marrying him.
