think that's why the southbound A470 layby just doen from Nant Ddu has been closed for nearly 2yrs.

Summer 2024 when I was up there I counted 3 LCD televisions dumped in the hedge. Very sad.

Prob dumped by some not part of this community, but created a cockblockfor us. 😔

I went a few days ago. I wasn't looking to meet just research.

there are quite a few laybys between aber and Hereford on the 465. The bit around Pontrilas is my area.

it was a monday very sunny around 2 to 3pm

I saw people coming and going. Theres cars doing the driving between car parks thing.

do be aware there is a legitimate public footpath leading off some of the parking places. best not approach anyone in a bobble hat with a rucksack

I saw people getting out and walking into the undergrowth.certainly looks like if you are upfront and not shy there are plenty folk to talk to.
