Have booked the day off. Thinking of heading down Monknash Wednesday 12th August. Weather is meant to be fantastic, tides are great for the day time and there is a partial eclipse early evening around high tide time but will still be a great day for it. Just putting it out there as an idea for others.

There is a farmers field car park on google maps, park there and pay in the honesty box. Walk down the road, then the track to the beach/it’s mostly rock outcrops to begin. Walk down the beach to the right for 15min to the rock outcrop the other side of the sand.
