As many of you may know I have been battling with a liver tumour for a few years. The consultant at the Freeman Hospital Newcastle has decided that the best treatment for me now is some Lutitian radiation therapy.
This will involve for infusions eight weeks apart. There will be a few of the normal side effects, but I do have to be careful when I am in contact with other people for the first week or so after treatment.
Whilst I would be in no danger it would be irresponsible of me to get into too close contact with others at times during this treatment. In simple terms there will be period where I will not be radioactive and can live a normal sex life but others for the safety of somebody with me, it would be best, to avoid.
