I used to cruise from 9 in the morning and leave at 6 in the evening. It was amazing. Guys just left alone having fun. We had party’s in there on a Sunday with up to 50 guys drinking champagne etc and when we left you would not even know we were in there. Now today of course as we all know it’s near as finished. Now they say it’s because of the flora etc.What makes me laugh is for 40 odd years no one cared about the flora infact the only flora in there is at the very back by the golf course. No one cruised there. It’s only since the kung Flu ( Covid) that’s it’s stopped. Also just before that people had been living in there in tents and leaving there crap everywhere so that was another reason. And another is of course people were getting mugged by new arrivals ( make of that what you will , but it’s true ). So I like to hear from anybody over 55 who can remember the good old days. Some experience’s in the good old bars. Anybody who can remember strande apotieke when it still had a sand floor. Cafe Wein years ago. The Prison bar, Nacht cafe. The bars back then were all MEN only. And if anybody can remember the biggest legend of them all. Bernhard from Nurnberg who opened NA-UND. Also one more thing the old English guy who would dance non stop in NA-UND. Another true legend. We certainly had the best days by far.
