I’m a 50+ male who’s been around this site long enough to know how things work. I’m here for genuine, enjoyable connections — the kind where two people actually read each other’s profiles and put a bit of thought into their messages.

A tiny request…

If you send me a one-word opener like “Hi”, I’m probably not going to reply. Show me you’ve read my profile, say something with a bit of spark, and you’ll definitely get my attention.- “Hi how are you” is boring and not interesting at all.

I don’t accept friend requests unless we’ve met in person — it’s just me keeping things sensible.
