You can get tested for free by requesting a postal test kit you can at home in most places. Worth doing. PrEP is also free!
PEP and doxypep are also available free post-exposure or if you think a condom broke or something, as is the morning after pill for people to whom that's relevant (and contraception like implants, pills, coils). Condoms are often offered free at sexual health centres too. Worth the peace of mind innit.
