Midlands is very big West Midlands covers 6 counties Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire not to forget West Midlands County. So there is a case for East and West Midlands

This question gets asked a lot surely it’s not to hard to give us all a few words response…. Or have you all falling into that bad habit far too many folk seem to have on this site in which they read msgs and simply ignore and don’t reply. Birmingham is the second biggest city in the UK.

West Midlands (Greater Birmingham) is the second biggest city region in the UK.

Nottingham, Leicester, Coventry, Derby are all large cities in the Midlands, plus countless medium and small cities that are neither North or South.

West & East Midlands have a larger population than Scotland and Wales combined.
