If you hide your profile, can people find it if they search for your name in Advanced search? And can they still find you from their Hotlist or Friends list?

I think they can do a name search and still find you, not sure about the rest .

You stay on friends list, hotlists and block lists. If you've exchanged messages you still register your last time online there as well. But uou disappear from all searches and the who's near me function.

Like right now you are hidden and you don't show in a name search. But I've added you to my hotlist and can see you were on 15 mins ago. Does that help clear it up?

You dont show up in a name search, but on here you can be seen obviousley and I can message you even with the profile being hidden.

They would also be able to find and message if you are on the frineds list, hot list, or if you have exchanged messages in the past, but they can not see any pf your details.

Wouldn't say that. Plenty of legitimate reasons to hide your profile, but the lurking and perving aspect leaves me uncomfortable.

I'll hide my profile when I am on holidays. Or if someone appears on my "who's near me" page as touching distance. Hide my profile and vlock them for 5-10 minutes to keep my privacy. But I don't contact people while hidden as I do thinknita qyite rude
