The users behind two profiles have been have been enquiring with people in my freinds list to see if I have met them in person, and also demanding me to tell them if I have met these friends in person before. They have also approached people that I have no connection with asking if I have met them. I would never volunteer info about people I have met to a stranger as it is indiscreet.

I regard this as phishing, perhaps with a view to black-mail, or at least stalking and harassment and is likely illegal.

At the very least, it is aggressive behaviour that doesn't belong on this site.

I have reported them to admin and blocked them.

I posted a status advising others to be wary.

They have clearly reported this and....I have been warned by admin! I get the rules about airing dirty laundry, so not criticising this, but my only intention was to help keep others safe from unsafe, illegal and innapropriate behaviour.

Please can admin contact me and look into this behaviour URGENTLY.

If you're worried about black-mail, you must go to the police. There is only some much that admin on here can do.

It is against rules to name and shame and why you have had a warning.

Unless you know more than you are posting, I am not sure how this could end up being b-mail but once you report the best thing to do is drop it and let Admin check it out
