I imagine if you like beards it's something to do with being attracted to masculinity. You have sex with men because they're men, a beard can make a man appear more masculine. It depends on the man wearing the beard, some men suit them, some don't.

I think this is why I like beards. I’ve had one most of the time since I could grow one. I like to see men with body hair too. However, if a man doesn’t have one he will have other redeeming qualities I can enjoy. I think I just like men!

On the whole I like guys with beards. Guess it's a masculinity thing. Grown on myself a couple of times but wasn't really comfortable with it and don't think it suited me. Do prefer neat beards. Not keen on big bushy ones or straggly ones. Was a bit wary about kissing a guy with a beard but actually find it great and very sexy.

For me, beards are a massive turn on. Thick, dense hair, bushy but shaped and trimmed to look tidy.

I'm generally not a fan of facial hair. The longer it is, the less I can stand it. It's slightly hypocritical perhaps, as I usually have a short beard because everyone says I look better with one (should I be insulted at that ) and I'm so used to it now it's weird not having it.

FYI: Have a quick skim down the comments on this thread and then after a while you can nearly always tell the poster’s sexuality by their response.

90% chance that if a man likes beards he’s gay

90% chance that if a man doesn’t like beards he’s is bisexual

Suggestive, is it not?

Yes, I think you are probably right. Those bisexual who like the tv/ts will obviously not find the hairy bearded man appealing, and I can understand that. Just like the majority of gay men find guys in knickers or female attire unappealing.

I grew a beard for a stag do in summer 2023. And have had more interest from both sexes.

One girl was 27, half my age, but I was thinking, why would she be interested in an old man like me? Afterwards my roommate said that I'd missed out there. I'm still in touch with here but she lives in malaga.

And most blokes I've met on here say it is because they find this look attractive. But I don't see it myself.

I understand its each to his own but I just think they've been drinking again!!

Yep think you could be right on how guys wired to view masc. Not for me as masculinity is more about a personal attitude that can't be masked by growing a beard. FYI- If you encounter anyone with a large ZZTop-esque beard it is not ok to just go up to them and start putting your hands all over it.

It is in fact a fairly hefty invasion of their personal space and really quite rude.

I know the majority of people would realise this but you'd be surprised by just how many do not.

You wouldn't go putting your hands all over a woman uninvited, would you?
